Rashmika’s Bollywood Dreams Crashing!

Rashmika Mandanna is one of the sought-after actresses for South Indian biggies these days. She made her pan-India debut with Pushpa. But despite the blockbuster success of the film in Hindi, Rashmika had very little credit to her name as Allu Arjun walked away with all the applause.

Rashmika hoped to make a splashing entry in Bollywood with GoodBye which had Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role. But the film ended up as a disaster and not many even talked about it.

She then opined Siddharth Malhotra’s Mission Majnu would be the film to ignite her Bollywood career. But sadly for her, this film is skipping theatrical release and going directly for Netflix premieres in January. Even if the film is a hit on OTT, it might not boost Rashmika’s career too much.

As of now, Rashmika’s hopes are firmly pinned on Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal. This is the one crazy big-ticket Hindi film in her line up. But again, will Sandeep’s films have much emphasis on the female lead? Going by Arjun Reddy and Kabir Singh, the answer should be known to everyone.

There is Pushpa 2 as well. But all the talk surrounding the film is only about Allu Arjun. So, Rashmika can’t expect much visibility from this hyped project.

Can the talented actress pull off something incredible with one of her upcoming Hindi releases and prove her doubters wrong?
