Rashmika: It’s Gotten Worse, It’s Heartbreaking

It is not uncommon for actors to face social media trolls. But there most certainly is a limit to the same, beyond which the actor/actress is bound to get hurt and feel heartbroken. Going by in-form actress, Rashmika Mandanna’s latest post, she is going through the same now.

Rashmika took to Instagram to share a lengthy post on the negativity and hate she had been facing in her career thus far.

“A couple of things have been troubling me these last few days or weeks or months or maybe even years now and I think it’s time I address it. I am only speaking for myself – something I should have done years ago. I have been on the receiving end of a lot of hate ever since I started my career. Quite literally a punching bag for a lot of trolls and negativity out there.” the actress said.

Rashmika said she feel heart-broken after seeing all the untoward hate that she had been facing all through her career. She says this negative narrative can be harmful to her relationships in and outside the film industry.

It has gotten to the point where Rashmika is having to share a detailed post on the hate she had been facing and this really should be the line for the hate-mongers. It isn’t right to target someone so very much. They should understand that actors are humans too, a netizen commented.
