The teaser focussing only on the lead pair of Payal Rajput and Tejus Kancherla looked like a raunchy adult comedy. The safe sex comedy bits and the extreme focus on the glamour quotient of the actress strengthened that impression.
However, the trailer that out now makes RDX Love seems like a regular female-led commercial entertainer with a routine village centric fight. Payal Rajput is seen fighting and mouthing powerful dialogues that look so out of depth. There is also no hint of the ‘adult’ content, which is what the teaser was all about.
In a way, the trailer showcasing the real content is right. It readjusts the expectations one might have developed post the teaser. However, the actual content that is available might turn off a few in the first place.
