Real Character Inspiration for Salaar

Director Prashant Neel made a huge mark in the Indian film industry with his massive blockbuster KGF. While the second part of the film is highly anticipated and is scheduled to release this year, Prashant is keeping himself busy in the meantime, with Prabhas‘s Salaar.

It was announced some time ago that Shruti Haasan would be playing the role of the leading lady in Salaar, marking her first collaboration with both Prashant and Prabhas. It is now being said that Shruti will be playing the role of a journalist in the film and that her role has been modeled after a real-life journalist.

On the other hand, it was previously speculated that Prabhas will be seen as a mechanic, and also as a person who takes on men from the mining industry. A couple of photos have made the rounds on social media, from the sets of Salaar.

Prabhas recently joined the sets of Radhe Shyam in Hyderabad, for a song and a couple of reshoots, after wrapping up a schedule of Adipurush in Mumbai.
