Romancham is a horror-comedy that tells the story of friends staying in Bangalore in 2007. Directed by debutant director Jeethu Madhavan. Soubin Shaheer, Arjun Ashokan, Chemban Vinod, and others played the central roles in the film.
The film received good reviews from the critics and a great response from the audience in the theaters. Romancham is a laugh-a-riot while also adding necessary goosebumps, every now and then. It comes with a fresh twist to the horror-comedy genre. It is after a long time a satirical horror comedy has worked this well in Malayalam.
Jeethu Madhavan’s skilled direction, Sanu Tahir’s brilliant camerawork, Kiran Das’s razor-sharp cut editing, and the delightful performances by the entire cast make Romancham a fun watch.
