Record Set Straight On KGF2

Prashanth Neel’s KGF2 is one the eagerly awaited films. The unprecedented success scaled the graph of Kannada cinema as it caught the attention of the entire nation. The film has been hitting headlines of late over its release date.

With the uncertain break, Neel is making use of it to give his best output as post-production works in full throttle. While the pandemic has played a big time spoiler, Neel doesn’t rue about films’ delay as with grim situations around, films can take a back seat, he feels.

KGF2 was planned for a July 16 release, but with uncertainty staring across, the film has been postponed. The team now has plans to come with a fresh update on July 16 and many are assuming it be in connection with the release date.

Meanwhile, Neel has also set the record straight saying that KGF2 is a period-action entertainer flick. Having an universal appeal and no connection to the present, the film will click at any given point of time of release. Looks like Neel is all confident about KGF2 and is in no way dampened over the delay.

As per the buzz, KGF2 has plans for October 13 release, but it is only possible if RRR holds back its release date. Apart from Salaar and Jr NTR’s project, Neel has interesting projects which are in nascent stage with Hombale Films.
