RRR Day 5: Rock Steady Everywhere

On the fifth day, the Jr NTR and Ram Charan starrer RRR has scored the best figures for ‘the day’ by collecting a little above 13.6 Cr. The rock steady collection is the reason for the record-smashing spree.

RRR is doing well all over the Telugu states. The reduction in prices is helping in the increase of footfalls. The smaller centres are witnessing a steady run due to the same. The price reduction is limited currently and is expected to expand further in the coming days. It is sure to benefit RRR in the long run.

Nizam is leading the charge as far as the collections are considered. RRR has collected a little above 68 Cr in five days. It is GST included number and hence will take a few days more to truly cross Baahubali 2 Nizam figure. It will also break even very soon, making it the first in Telugu states.

Andhra Pradesh territories, too, are performing excellently. RRR will however most likely miss a couple of area records for the first week. It is due to the limited shows at the start that led to a shortfall in the openings. As many might be aware, RRR didn’t get opening day records in a couple of areas due to the same reason.

The real test for RRR will begin today (Wednesday). Many films in the recent past have dropped on Wednesday after steady weekdays. Watch this space to know if that’s the case with Rajamouli’s RRR as well or if it continues its solid run.
