Rudramadevi to romance Puri’s son?

Cine folks already know that director Puri Jagannath’s son Akash is making his debut soon with a remake film. The film is said to be a teenage love story and Raj Madhiraju of ‘Rishi’ fame is going to wield the megaphone while Ramesh Prasad is going to produce the film.

The latest news known is about the teenage girl who is going to play heroine for Akash. Ulka Gupta, the popular television actress had been roped in by Gunasekhar to play young Rudramadevi for his historic film. This teenager played young Lakshmi Bai in the popular superhit serial ‘Jhansi Ki Rani’ and had done horse riding and war scenes which would come handy while essaying young Rudrama.

According to latest reports, this teenager now got her second role in Tollywood to play Akash’s debut heroine. Since this film is the remake of a Marathi superhit film ‘Time Pass’ and happens to be a love story, Ulka Gupta’ selection is seen as the apt one because she is sixteen now and Akash is around the same age. This film is yet to go on to the sets.
