Rumours on Rakul Debunked

Victory Venkatesh has moved on to his next multi-starrer ‘Venky Mama’ with his nephew Naga Chaitanya Akkineni. The shooting is already underway. Rakul Preet Singh was finalized to play Chaitu’s heroine while Shriya Saran was roped in for Venkatesh. This movie is next for Venky right after the blockbuster ‘F2: Fun & Frustration’.

There had been rumours that Rakul Preet Singh couldn’t allot the dates for the multi-starred. However, the rumours are dismissed and she is indeed going to romance Naga Chaitanya in this movie. She had already played the Akkineni hero’s heroine in ‘Raarandoi Veduka Chudham’ and this will be her second film with him. ‘Venky Mama’ is the only Telugu film in her kitty, as of now.

Rakul is doing three Tamil films and two Hindi films that are in the production stage. Coming to Venky, F2 is Rs. 70 crore plus film and we know that his next movie is being bankrolled by his brother Suresh Babu who is going to milk the benefits. There is a great advantage for him as it will do a good pre-release business since F2 was a big hit at the box-office.
