Good response for Sachin’s Singing Debut!

Sachin Tendulkar might have retired from the world of cricket few years ago, but the adoration his fans have for him continues to live on. The same was quite evident when a picture of the master blaster holding a mic and standing alongside singer Sonu Nigam hit the webs and the social media went into a tizzy!

A lot of theories over the picture said that the cricket legend might be teaming up with the singer and they were quite right. Sachin indeed made his debut in the world of music with Sonu Nigam with a cricket based song titled ‘cricket wali beat.’ The song video premiered on the grand finale of India Idol 9 which had Tendulkar as a celebrity guest.

Not only was Sonu Nigam appreciative of Sachin’s singing ability and his grasp on sur, some twitter users have gone on to proclaim this song as the anthem of cricket!
