The makeover from Supreme Hero to get into a romantic genre is appreciated, but the combination is a risky one. Director A Karunakaran hasn’t delivered a decent outing in a long time. Now add to that, the release timing is also more hazardous. The makers have recently announced June 29 as the date for the love story’s arrival.

Multiple films are releasing around the same time, and some of those are already on a roll in grabbing eyeballs with unique content. If Tej – I Love You fails in gaining traction it would be because of the release time many in the trade opine. In the recent past, neither being safe nor confident has worked for SDT. The release date, therefore, shouldn’t make a difference as long as there is a favourable report for content.
