Samantha Cites Shilpa Shetty Example To Court

The defamation case filed by Samantha against a few YouTube channels and an individual named CL Venkat Rao is taking new turns with every passing day. Last week, the Kukatpally Court slammed Samantha’s request for urgent hearing, saying everyone is equal under the law and she can’t use the celebrity card in regard to the case.

Today, Samantha’s attorney has cited the recent ‘permanent injunction order’ case filed by Shilpa Shetty as the reference point to Samantha’s case now.

Samantha’s attorney pointed out that Bombay High Court passed the permanent injunction order, restricting media outlets from reporting derogatory reports pertaining to Shilpa Shetty.

Samantha wants a similar verdict in her defamation case as well. She too has requested a permanent injunction order, as a part of which, YouTube channels and individuals are ordered by the court not to spread misinformation and false rumors about her personal life.

The Kukatpally Court has now reserved the judgement on Samantha’s defamation case. The final verdict will be announced very soon.
