What is golden girl Samanta doing at present? She has wrapped up shooting of Vikram’s ’10 Endhrakulla’ and busy in promotions and she almost finished shooting for Dhanush’s untitled sequel of ‘Vellai Illa Pattadhari’ (VIP, ‘Raghuvaran B Tech’ in Telugu).
When Sam was doing VIP-2, Dhanush promised that she is going to do yet an another film with him. If the buzz has to be believed it is going to be a two part film ‘Vada Chennai’ to be directed by award winning Tamil director Vetrimaaran who earned award for Dhanush’s ‘Aadukaalam’.
The combination of Dhanush and Vetrimaran is interesting and Samanta would be probably playing the female lead in the movie. Since the film’s story is spread across three decades, one can expect something very different from the award winning director who has been successful in diluting the line between parallel cinema and popular cinema.
