Samantha Should Have Asked For Our Help

Our readers are aware that has filed a defamation suit against three YouTube channels and an analyst in Kukatpally court for defaming her on social media. She has urged the court to stop this malicious propaganda against her. She also demanded a public apology from them.

However, Burra Srinivas, president of the Online Journalists Association, responded to Samantha’s petition. The Online Journalist Association strongly condemned the cases filed by Samantha. “Social media is a weapon in the hands of every common man. Social media has added the opportunity for everyone to share on social media. It is not good to give notices on such a weapon,” he said.

“Samantha’s life is intertwined with social media. Everything from Samantha’s marriage to her divorce was shared on social media. It is not right to attack the same social media right now. She should have approached us if she had a problem. We would have got it removed,” Burra Srinivas said.

“Everyone knows the good of social media but then, the problem is only with the people who protrude into personal lives of others and make nasty and baseless allegations just for clicks or views,” Samantha fans fire on the association.
