Speaking of Rajini, the actor says, they both are from Bengaluru and had similarities in spiritual and book choice. Well, Sampath has a great physique not less to become a hero, but he prefers the roles that suit his age and doesn’t like that lover boy play in the films. The favorite villain of the industry, says he is a selfish actor and want the roles that sit in the mind of the audience as they leave the theater.

To make sure that his role has an impact, Sampath chooses films only after listening to the whole script. For an instance, he left the offer from Raees of Shah Rukh Khan as his role in the film was too small. The choice of films is what draws the route for any actor and Sampath seems to be on the right path.
