Sanjay Dutt’s fans are up in arms against the police administration with the cancellation of his much publicized show in Pune on Thursday evening. Thousands of fans eagerly waited for the show for the last two months but it got cancelled as police said that they had inputs about the security threats. But the question is why the police did not anticipate it? Sanju who was in jail hoped to enthrall audience with lungi dance of Chennai Express. But his plans were thwarted by police by canceling the function which was aimed to raise funds for the welfare of inmates of Yerawada jail where Sanju was also kept in connection with 1993 bomb blast case.
Pune-based filmmaker had set and directed the two-hour-long show for the event.The actor was to star in the bi-lingual play and was also expected to perform on a song from his hit film Munnabhai MBBS. The police authorities assured that the show will be organized in the jail premises itself very soon. So rehearsal of Sanju and 45 other inmates will not go vain. It is the consolation for the fans who bought each ticket at Rs.1000 for the special show.
