Nani who is known to mix up the genres of the films he does is coming up with an Action Entertainer, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram which is releasing on August 29th. The team dropped a small teaser of sorts which they call it ‘Not A Teaser’ on the occasion of SJ Suryah’s Birthday.
The teaser indicates there is a dreadful villain and there is a hero who neutralizes him with the help of the heroine. It appears like a simple and straightforward premise but the director draped it interestingly with the ‘Diwali Story’ we have learned in the Hindi lessons in childhood.

SJ Suryah has the potential to play a menacing villain but the filmmakers failed to tap it in recent times. It has to be seen if the director can utilize him properly in the film. That is also important for the face-off to work.
The major highlight of the teaser is the background score by Jakes Bejoy. He made a big impression with the terrific score of King Of Kotha and he carried the form for Saripodha Sanivaram as well. The visuals are also impressive. The final shot of Nani with the background score ‘సరితూగే సమరమే …సంహారం తథ్యమే’ leaves an impression.

Director Vivek Athreya could not deliver when he last directed Nani in Ante Sundaraniki. This is a totally different setup for him. He should live up to Nani’s trust.
The ‘Not A Teaser’ of Saripodhaa Sanivaaram is a good start to the film promotions.
