Nani’s previous collaboration with Vivek Athreya didn’t live up the expectations. A section of the audience liked the film, especially the second half. But the majority of the audience found it too long and director’s misjudgement costed big.

Now, Vivek Athreya seems to be in redemption mode with Saripodhaa Sanivaaram and has now ventured into mass cinema that has solid theatrical value.

Vivek is going full throttle in terms of massy content which includes a fair amount of violence, blood, and gore. Athreya this time wants to target not only the class audience but also the mass audience who watch films of commercial content and not just for aesthetics.

The project promises grandeur, with Murali G’s visuals and Jakes Bejoy’s music. Producer DVV Danayya ensures high production standards. The film stars Priyanka Arul Mohan as the leading lady and SJ Suryah as the villain, adding to the anticipation.

Let’s hope Nani and Vivek Athreya gets it right this time.
