Saripovatledhu: Nani Should Avoid Past Mistake

Nani

Nani and director Vivek Athreya are back together after their last film, Ante Sundaraniki, which received good critical acclaim but didn’t achieve significant box-office success.

Their new project, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, is nearing completion, and getting ready for release on August 29.

Saripodhaa Sanivaaram marks a shift for Vivek Athreya, known for his sensible and entertaining films, as he ventures into the action genre. This move adds an element of risk for both him and Nani.

Hardcore cinema lovers have good expectations due to Vivek Athreya’s involvement, but the general movie-going public, which forms the majority, remains largely unaware of the film. There is a lack of buzz for the film as of now. Their last film Ante Sundaraniki also suffered because the team failed to build enough anticipation around the film.

Yesterday, they released a set of posters featuring the principal characters, including Aditi Balan, Murali Sharma, Ajay, Ajay Ghosh, and Subhalekha Sudhakar, and revealed that a place named ‘Sokulapalem’ plays a significant role in the plot.

Produced by DVV Danayya with music by Jakes Bejoy, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram stars Priyanka Mohan as the heroine and SJ Suryah as the antagonist.

The recently released teaser, showcasing Nani and SJ Suryah in fierce roles, was the best promotional unit among the ones that were released. Suryah’s character is portrayed as Narakasura and Nani appears as Lord Sri Krishna which left an intriguing impact.

To build on this momentum, the team needs to devise innovative and aggressive marketing strategies to build hype among the audience.

With only a month left for release, the team must amplify the promotional activities to ensure the film garners the hype it deserves.
