SVP @U.S. Box-Office: Second Week Is Critical

Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata has started on a mixed note on day one. The first weekend collections are okay but that is not enough for the film to be on the safe side.

The second week’s collections will be key. Especially in the US, SVP has done a fair job despite the mixed talk it received on day one. It has pulled in 2 million already but to reach the break-even mark, the film needs another $500K plus.

Therefore, the second week is extremely crucial for the film. Recently, no Telugu film that was released with a mixed talk survived in the second week sadly.

But SVP has an additional advantage of the free window this week as there is no other big Telugu film that is releasing to dent SVP collections. So, we need to see how much will the Parasuram action drama collect from here on.
