Second of ‘epic’ trilogy films of Anushka done

Heroine Anushka almost a year and half ago had signed onto three back to back epic big scale movies. First of those was Irandam Ulagam, a Tamil and Telugu bilingual which released as Varna in Telugu, the second was Rudramadevi and the third film was Baahubali. All these films were big scale big budgeted and most anticipated movies when announced. One among these Varna has released and bombed at the box office.

Now the second of these films Rudramadevi too has been completed. Today the makers of the film officially announced that the principle shooting of the film has been completed and the unit has now moved to post production activities. They have also confirmed that the release is planned in December but have refrained from naming an exact date. Gunasekhar of Okkadu, Arjun and Varudu etc fame is directing as well as producing this epic film which is touted to be India’s first historical 3D stereoscopic film. Here’s hoping that the second one has a fate different to that of the first in this series of epic trilogy starring Anushka.
