Seven Pawan Kalyan Fans In Police Custody

Pawan Kalyan’s big hit of yesteryear, Tholi Prema, was re-released on June 30. The film was screened on Friday at the Kapardi Theatre in Gandhinagar, Vijayawada. The second show began at 10.30 p.m., and at around 10.45 p.m., some fans of Pawan Kalyan started creating a scene by dancing and making noise in the theatre.

Sometime later, they tried to tear open the screen in excitement. When the theatre staff tried to stop them, they tore the screen and broke some doors and chairs. They even broke windows. The situation was getting out of control, and the theatre management called in the police.

The owner lodged a complaint against the fans. According to theatre manager B. Mohana Rao, property worth Rs 4 lakh was damaged during the ruckus.

The Narayanapuram police took the complaint and arrested seven fans of Pawan Kalyan. Three separate teams have been deployed to nab all those involved and check the incident details.
