The buzz grew stronger after veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty made an unexpected comment in an interview while talking about Jailer 2. Mithun said the script impressed him deeply and casually mentioned that the film could feature a powerful ensemble including Rajinikanth, Mohanlal, Shah Rukh Khan, Ramya Krishnan, and Shiva Rajkumar. Though there is no official confirmation, this statement alone was enough to ignite fan excitement.
