Shankar falls way behind in Bollywood!

Director Shankar has been carrying India’s top director tag for some time but recently released high budgeted film ‘I’ seems to have tilted his brand image in Bollywood. Trade was expecting I to surpass Rajinikanth’s “Robot”, the Hindi version of “Enthiran” but I fails to even meet the figures of Robo which was released few years ago.

‘I’ had a fabulous run at the box office during the first week of it’s release in Tamilnadu and in both Telugu states AP and Telangana. But the film is suffering the heat from latest release Pataas which garnered hit talk and Tamil market too not looking encouraging with as many as six films set for release this week in Kollywood with Ajay’s Yennai Arindhaal postponed by a week.
