Shruti Haasan gets two repetitive item songs!

Light eyed beauty Shruti Haasan’s item song ‘Junction lo’ in Mahesh Babu’s ‘Aagadu’ was much hyped before the release of the film. Many were surprised on why Shruti chose to do an item number when she is going through a lucky phase in Tollywood with back to back successes in TFI unlike her movies in Bollywood and Kollywood.

Before the audiences got answer on why she is opting for item songs, Shruti once again sizzled in another item number ‘Madamiya’ for an upcoming Hindi movie ‘Tevar’ starring Arjun Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha, the remake of Mahesh’s Babu’s ‘Okkadu’. When we compare the two item songs, they strikingly seem to be similar in conceptualisation.

Even the costumes and hair style Shruti Haasan has sported in both the songs seems very regular and similar. The two songs have protagonists dancing away with Shruti Haasan in a club type disco theque set up with almost strikingly similar tunes. Though Bollywood audience might not find the similarity, for Telugu audiences Shruti’s item numbers would definitely seem repetitive.
