Singham's brand going to be rechristened!

Some films for which sequels are made one after the other, retain the original name because they have created a brand for themselves. In South, it is the Singham series which created a brand for itself. The third installment of the film is on cards and hero Suriya is producing the movie under his 2D Entertainments banner.

Till now, we have been referring the film as ‘Singham 3’. However, a title change is on cards for the film. This idea might add some freshness to the project because the title ‘Singham’ is beaten to death in South and also in Bollywood. On the flip side, ‘Singham’ is a brand and the makers have to retain that flavor with the new title.

The announcement of the new title is going to come out on Wednesday. What could be the reason behind the title change idea? Let’s see how a title change would relate to Singham brand.
