Trailer Talk: Soldier’s Intense Love DramaThe theatrical trailer for Sita Ramam, a love drama featuring Dulquer Salmaan, Mrunal Thakur, Rashmika Mandanna, and others is out now. The trailer instates that Sita Ramam is a soldier’s intense love drama.

The trailer starts off with the introduction of Rashmika’s character. She is handed the responsibility of delivering lieutenant Ram’s letter to Sita Mahalakshmi. Tharun Bhascker accompanies her in the process.

Then the story heads back to 1965 as we are introduced to Dulquer and Mrunal’s characters. They look good together.

Dulquer looks sharp as an army officer who falls for Sita Mahalakshmi over letters even without seeing her face. But there’s a twist in Sita’s story. This could be the conflict point.

The main highlight of the trailer is the aesthetically stunning visuals. The picturesque snowy ranges of Kashmir are showcased sublimely. PS Vinod’s work behind the lens adds a layer to the love story. The background score suits the theme of the proceedings.

Sita Ramam’s trailer implies that the film revolves the around the love story between an army man and a commoner Sita.

But there’s a catch here. Sita’s name is nowhere in the records here. Who’s she? Is She from Pakistan, given that the film is an army based love drama? This holds a good deal of excitement and if presented well, can make for a compelling love drama.

The film is directed by Hanu Raghavapudi and produced by Ashwini Dutt under Vyjayanthi Movies banner. It is releasing in theaters on the 5th of August.
