Skylab Seals OTT Streaming Partner

Satya Dev, Nithya Menen, and Rahul Ramakrishna starrer, Skylab hit the marquee today. The film had built up curiosity amongst a section of the audience prior to its release, thanks to its intriguing trailer. However, the film has opened to rather weak reviews. It is being termed a slow-paced drama.

Now, the latest we hear is that Skylab has locked Sony Liv as its OTT streaming partner. It is also heard that the film will be arriving on OTT 4 weeks post its theatrical release, if not earlier. If that is the case, the film might be out on Sony Liv on the 1st of January. This is just a tentative release date, it needs to be noted.

Skylab is a rural drama that is based on the incidents pertaining to the infamous ‘Skylab’ that was believed to crashland on earth. Despite having a decent premise, the film struggles due to insipid narration.

Skylab is directed by newcomer Vishvak Khanderao. The film has a rural setup. Will it be able to fair any better on OTT? We have to wait and watch.
