The film in question is Magic, directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, and it is being produced under the banner of Sithara Entertainments as a youthful musical drama.
The movie was initially set to release on December 21, but due to the delay in receiving the final music from Anirudh, there are now talks that the release date may have to be postponed.
Anirudh is currently juggling multiple big-budget projects in Tamil, Hindi, and Telugu, including films like Shah Rukh Khan’s King, Love Insurance Company, Coolie, and Vida Muyarchi, along with films starring Vijay Deverakonda and Nani.
These high-priority projects are keeping his schedule extremely tight.
As a result, Anirudh seems to be prioritizing bigger films, and Magic, being a smaller-budget project, has had to wait longer for his time.
The team behind Magic has been patiently waiting for the final songs for some time, and this delay in music delivery has led to further postponements of the film’s release.
However, the makers realize the immense brand value Anirudh brings with his association and are hence having no complaints whatsoever.
