Small stars bullied unnecessarily?

The event ended after twelve plus hours of non-stop entertainment. But the controversies and discussions on the absence of some stars isn’t taking the name of coming to an end. After the much discussed Pawan kalyan’s absence during ‘Memu Saitham’, now it is the turn of small stars’ absence which is being discussed in film circles.

The row started when director Thammareddy Bharadwaj chose to hold a press meet and go harsh on the small stars especially small heroines for not attending the ‘Memu Saitham’ event. He even alleged that these small stars are interested in late night parties but not to participate in an event held for a cause.

But many of these small stars are actually present in the live events. Many made it to one or the other programme during the event. Some gave live performances while others participated in Cricket and Kabaddi matches. Names like Poonam Kaur, Madhu Shalini, Ritu Varma which came up as the ones who skipped ‘Memu Saitham’ were actually present on the day. While big stars were seen in the front, these small stars were only standing behind but very much part of the event. Now they don’t understand why they are bullied unnecessarily.
