Bitter Fact Behind Mega Hero’s Fun

Mega hero Sai Dharam Tej’s ‘Solo Brathuke So Better‘ was a hit as it braved the pandemic and the strict regulations of 50% occupancy and released the film in the theatres proving that audiences are willing to come to the theatres.

It’s fine up to this part. But, there is a valid argument about the portrayal of bachelors’ lives, marriage and girls as evil and crushers of happiness in our films. ‘Solo Brathuke So Better‘ carried forward the same old notion implying that there is the fun of being solo.

This trope idea of women being trouble and solo life being better is misogynistic and this sounds quite valid. Propagating these kinds of ideas throughout the film and showing the conclusion differently isn’t going to help, anyway.

This is not about this one film, but there are many films that show the opposite/negative thing throughout and but try to get out of the lame showing the ending positively/differently.
