Superstar Mahesh Babu films usually come with great hype but Srimanthudu lacked that when compared to his previous films despite having a blockbuster director on board. Reason was simple, the star was coming off twin failures and the film didn’t give that classic commercial vibe that rules the box office.

Srimanthudu crossed Gabbar Singh pretty quickly and then took some time to beat Magadheera. Now after few more days it has crossed the collections of Attarintiki Daredi too and thus becoming the second biggest hit of all time. So when one looks back at the start of all this to this day, one is bound to get this question in mind, what more can Mahesh ask for Srimanthudu?
