Srinivasa Kalyanam Going Saakshyam Way

The film Srinivasa Kalyanam has done decently over the long weekend of four days. It is decent because the movie has not dropped and remained steady and in fact, was the highest collecting flick for the weekend.

And yet, whatever it has done is not enough to make Srinivasa Kalyanam a success. The movie has collected close to ten crores in the opening weekend. However, the trend was not positive. Word of mouth is not translating into big numbers.

In a way, Srinivasa Kalyanam is similar to Saakshyam as that film too was decent over the weekend and continued to collect at low levels for the rest of the week as well. But, in the end, that was nowhere near enough. Srinivasa Kalyanam will do better overall due to the holiday’s factor, but that would still be not enough if there is no dramatic pickup.
