Star hero to blindly sign ace director’s film!

Tamil hero Karthi once had been the assistant director who worked under ace film maker Mani Ratnam for merely Rs. 5000 initially and later his pay was hiked to Rs.15,000. Now that Karthi is a star, how much would he demand to work as hero for Mani’s film?

Karthi thinks it’s a blessing to work with Mani Ratnam and out of respect for the film maker, he would blindly sign for the movie, without paying heed what might his remuneration be. The actor confirms that it isn’t going to be a love story.

However, the film will be typical Mani Ratnam’s film in which Sai Pallavi of ‘Premam’ fame is playing the female lead. Once Karthi completes his current movie ‘Kashmora’, he will probably start shooting for Mani’s film from June.
