Sudeep clarifies on Rajinikanth’s project

Kannada actor Sudeep, who has gained immense popularity since Eega in southern film industries, has clarified that he is not part of superstar Rajinikanth’s next film Lingaa. There were reports that Sudeep had denied working in the film due to personal reasons, but the actor said all the such statements are baseless.

Sudeep clarified that he was not even offered the film in the first place for him to refuse to be part of it. In his personal twitter page, he said, “The news that I refused Lingaa is a false news. Earlier, there was a rumor that a role was offered to me. I want to clarify that no such role had come my way.” There was news few weeks back that he had signed Rajinikanth’s film but the tall actor has cleared the air now.

Rajini’s ‘Lingaa’ is currently on floors and features Sonakshi Sinha and Anushka Shetty in lead roles. It also features Jagapathi Babu in an important role.
