Sudeep takes Mirchi to Sandalwood

Remakes have always been an important part of the film industries and according to recent reports, it seems like there will a lot of remakes of Telugu movies to their Kannada counterparts. As the reports say Telugu movies like ‘Mirchi’, ‘Prema Katha Chitram’, ‘Swamy Rara’ and ‘Kick’ will be remade and released soon into their Kannada versions.

‘Mirchi’, a Telugu film which hit the theatres earlier this year, was directed and written by the debutante director Koratala Siva. It is said that ‘Sandalwood’ actor Sudeep will be directing the Kannada version of the super hit film ‘Mirchi’ and the producer will be N Kumar. The remake for the Telugu film ‘Swamy Ra Ra’ featuring Nikhil and Swati will star actors Prajwal and Nikki Galrani in its Kannada version. ‘Prema Katha Chitram’ will also be remade in Kannada and it is heard that Sreedhar Reddy got the rights.
