Ram Charan had a forgettable theatrical experience last time around with Game Changer and he’s now coming back with Peddi which is arriving in 10 days from now.
However, despite the approaching release date, Peddi isn’t quite encapsulating the big film vibe that we would ideally associate with a star of Charan’s stature.
Perhaps due to the repeat postponements and non eccentric material thus far, the buzz and anticipation amongst the neutrals hasn’t hit the peak.
There is a chance that the makers might have intentionally downplayed the hype and participation with the earlier trailer. But the crucial thing is that the film must gain a lot of ground before the big release on June 4.
Many fans are now of the opinion that it would take a certain Sukumar to ignite the lost grounding for Charan. Pushpa kind of big event film is what Charan needs now to bring back the good old vibe.
When a big hero film is arriving in 10 days, the level of anticipation would be through the roof. This is happening only at a partial level with Peddi and that can very well change with Sukumar, for the creative genius that he is and the kind of successful film bonding he has with Charan after Rangasthalam.
But nevertheless in the case of Peddi, it must be kept in mind that Charan has a lot of neutral acceptance amongst the audience, and all it would take is a decent word of mouth to shatter box office numbers.
