The release of three big hero movies from three different industries in a week’s gap was seen as first big clash of sorts. The films are Pawan Kalyan’s Sardaar Gabbar Singh, Vijay’s Theri and Shah Rukh Khan’s Fan. And the winner is?

Vijay has emerged as unanimous winner in this battle. Although his film Theri is not the blockbuster the fans expected its average talk was enough for fans to throng to theaters. The film, unlike the other two which crashed post weekend, is running successfully post the completion of the first weekend. With no noticeable releases till May 6, Theri is expected to be safe venture for all parties involved.
In the end, SGS is a disaster, Fan is heading towards a Flop status where as Theri is likely to emerge a hit. Celebration time for Vijay fans in Tamil. Unfortunately the Telugu version is again a disappointment for the star as it getting replaced all over from this Friday.
