Following the moderate success of Bheemavaram Bullodu, everybody ruled out Sunil as a lead hero. But destiny has other plans for him as the actor is currently busy with three projects. Sunil is still very confident abut his career and his happy with the way it is shaping up. However, his only concern is to do more films in year and ever since he became a hero, he’s only been doing one film a year mostly.
He’s soon expected to start working on three projects. While one of the projects will be with debutant Vicky, Sunil will also work with writer Gopi Mohan, who will direct him in his directorial debut. He said that he’s waiting or either of these projects to start first. He will also start working on Tanikella Bharani’s Bhakta Kannappa, but the project is expected to go on floors in the month of May. As being rumored, the film will not be a mythological story, said Sunil. He said it’s a very commercial project about a rural love story with a lot of scope for entertainment.
Sunil said that the film has no connection to the classics Bhakta Kannappa, and although inspired by the same title, his film is very much different. He requests his fans to stop drawing comparisons with the old films.
