Malayalam superstar Mohanlal‘s recent theatrical outing, Aaraattu is billed to be a commercially packed mass masala entertainer. The film is now set to arrive on OTT, around 4 weeks post its theatrical release.
Amazon Prime Video has bagged the post theatrical digital streaming rights of Aaarattu. The Mohanlal starrer premieres on Amazon Prime on the 20th of March.
Aarattu opened to rather poor reviews and it is said to have put up an okayish performance at the box office.
The film revolves around a real estate tycoon who buys a piece of land but learns that the former occupants were forcibly evicted by a local mafia. Mohanlal is seen in a mass avatar in the same.
Aarattu is directed by B Unnikrishnan and it has Mohanlal, Shraddha Srinath, and others in the lead roles. The film hit the theatres on the 18th of February and 4 weeks later, it is set for OTT premieres.
