Whatever may be the fate of Kabali at the box office, it is not effecting Superstar Rajinikanth’s business potential. It can be seen with the satellite rights deal of his new movie Kaala.

Apparently, the rights of Kaala have been picked up by Star Network for 75 Cr. It is massive and includes the rights for all languages. Interestingly, the price is second only to another Superstar movie 2.0 which was snapped up for a mindboggling 110 C. the latter is still the record currently.

Kaala, directed by Pa Ranjith, is carrying tremendous buzz in the industry, but the currently ongoing strike in Tamil film industry is causing worry among the trade. Will the film arrive on time is the question on everyone’s mind.
