Rajinikanth’s Wife Faces Backlash in the Court

Justice S Vidyanathan of Madras High Court dismissed the petition filed by Mohan Menon, the authorized signatory of Latha Rajinikanth. Coming to the point, Chennai Municipal Corporation has hiked the rents of the shops that fall into the category owned by the Corporation but given on rental to the shops.

Latha Rajinikanth has a shop in which she runs a travel agency. The rent of the shop was hiked from Rs. 3,702 to Rs. 21,160. Alleging that the hike didn’t follow the rules of the rental fixation, Mohan Menon filed a complaint demanding to refix the rent for the shop.

However, the Court had to dismiss the complaint on the grounds that several other petitions on this regard were dismissed which asked for refixing the rent. Mr. Mohan Menon has been running the travel agency M/S Travel Exchange India Pvt. Ltd. for over 25 years in Chennai.
