Superstar to use prosthetics to look 17 year old

Cinema itself is a make believe medium in which we see actors enacting their reel life characters on screen to give the feel of watching a real life drama on screen. And when an actor has to look much much younger defying the age factor, other departments involved in the film making play a larger role to give the required effect to the actor’s look.

Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan is presently busy shooting for his upcoming movie ‘Fan’ in which he is playing both a superstar character and also a character of a fan who is a 17 year old. Obviously he had to use some prosthetics like make up and VFX to look the teenage boy. As Shahrukh is nearly 50, it’s going to be a challenge for the actor to get the right make up.

Surprisingly Shahrukh chose a 35 year old former super model Waluscha de Souza to play the female lead in the film and opines that his ‘Fan’ is a character-driven story which can’t follow the commercial standards of for heroine’s casting. The superstar’s fans are obviously eager to see their superstar reprising their role in ‘Fan’.
