The Supreme court heard the arguments of both the parties in this case and finally ordered the Service providers to furnish all the data in a sealed cover. The court asked Vijayawada court to open the sealed cover after three weeks and begin investigation after a month.

This will be a crucial twist to the case and it has to be seen if Andhra Pradesh government manages to get crucial evidences in phone tapping case with this data. In the earlier hearing in Bejawada Metropolitan court, Service Providers have clarified to Vijaywada court that they can not share the call data of Mathiah and others to the court as the Telangana government threatens them with prosecution if they give the data to the court.
