Non Bailable Warrant Rumour: Suresh Babu

Top producer and president of the Film Chamber of Commerce, Daggubati Suresh Babu, has dismissed rumours circulating about his family. Reports had claimed that a non-bailable warrant was issued in the Deccan Kitchen case.

Clarifying the matter, Suresh Babu stated that no such warrant was issued. He also said that neither he nor his co-accused family members were summoned by the Court on January 23.

Suresh Babu added that his family members, Venkatesh and Rana, were also not asked to appear in court. He expressed full faith in the legal system.

He further stated that they would extend complete cooperation to the authorities. The producer reiterated that the circulating reports were misleading and incorrect.

Known for maintaining a neutral and non-controversial image, Suresh Babu has been named in the Deccan Kitchen case. The allegations claim that Suresh Babu, Venkatesh, and Rana hired goondas to vacate the premises despite an existing lease agreement.

The case drew media attention due to the involvement of high-profile celebrities. However, a press note clarified that personal appearance was not required as per court instructions.

The press release also urged the media not to rely on sensational reports published by an English daily. It further stated that Suresh Babu holds the legal right to proceed against those responsible for spreading false information.
