Suriya’s first look treat for fans on Pongal

This January is surely going to be spectacular for Suriya’s fans since they will be given a first glimpse of the upcoming film of Suriya and Lingusamy. This first look poster is supposed to be revealed as a pongal treat for the fans on the 14th of January. It is important to note that this is the first time that Suriya has teamed with director Lingusamy who is known for his popular commercial movies.

The film that is yet to be titled is set against a Mumbai backdrop and a bearded Suriya plays the role of a rowdy character while Samantha is paired opposite him. This movie went on floors sometime in the November of 2013 and shooting began from December. And even though there has been no official confirmation, it is expected to be released sometime in the middle of 2014.
