Sye Raa Faces Much Bigger Threats Than Saaho!

At the start of the year itself, all eyes were on two Telugu films, Saaho and Sye Raa. These two were next ‘true’ big event movies from Telugu film industry in a post-Baahubali era. Saaho is all set to arrive in a month with so much buzz around it.

Slowly, the focus is shifting on to Megastar Chiranjeevi’s magnum opus Sye Raa. Ram Charan has already made his Instagram debut where he is expected to share information about Sye Raa. He (as a producer) is taking it slowly at the moment to let the Saaho’s momentum subsidise.

But, many are thinking if it will be a bit late for the publicity blitz to kick start then. The unofficial release date doing the rounds right now is October 2nd which is a National Holiday and also commences the Dushera holiday’s period. But, there are other biggies planned to arrive at the same time across various industries.

In Telugu itself, we have Venky Mama for Dushera period, in Hindi, the ‘War’ starring a rejuvenated Hrithik Roshan after Super 30 and Tiger Shroff combo arrives on the same day (October 2nd). Similarly, in Tamil and Malayalam, there are significant movies. All these put Sye Raa in a much tricky position than Saaho.

Without a wide pan-Indian release Sye Raa will be just another Telugu biggie, even though its made on a massive budget. Now, that would be a real dampener for the epic film of Megastar. We have to see how the makers generate the enormous buzz that is currently missing with Sye Raa.
