Tamannaah’s not shooting an item number

We all know now that actress Tamannaah has agreed to shot for a song in the debut film of Bellamkonda Srinivas which is directed by VV Vinayak. The shoot of the song is currently underway in the vicinity of Hyderabad and it’s expected to continue for five days. Since this is a standalone song and has a heroine that is not part of the film many assumed it to be an item number. But, it’s not an item number.

Tamannaah’s father who looks after dates says that her daughter is not doing an item number in the film instead it’s a romantic number and is a very integral part in the story of the film. Since it has that importance director VV Vinayak requested the actress to do it and as Tamannaah has great respect for him she agreed to do it, despite walking out of the film initially, says her father. This yet untitled film which is being readied as a summer treat, stars Samantha in the lead. Devi Sri Prasad provides the music.
