"I have rejected 10 horror films"

Taapsee revealed some secrets about herself and her career in a candid chat. The actress let it slip that she recently signed a Sandeep Krishnan bilingual film after rejecting almost ten horror movies in Tamil and Telugu. While ‘Ganga’ worked well on the box office, she didn’t want to work in any more horror films. But, as it is, the actress was wooed by the script of CV Kumar’s yet-to-be-titled film.

This upcoming film will apparently be a sci-fi thriller, a pleasant change among the usual films of the South-Indian film industry and Taapsee will play the role of a serious psychiatrist, a strong and independent character according to the actress.

The actress also admitted to being weary of her girl-next-door image and said that she would rather take up more challenging roles than the usual bubbly ones. Taapsee is also very particular about the brands she endorses as she believes they define her and add to her personality.
