Telangana driving license is the new hot cake

It just couple of months, Telangana the 29th state of India came in to existence. The word ‘Telangana’ is yet to replace several departments as of known Driving license is the only proof people get with ‘Telangana state’. People who do not have license previously and the people with old license with validity left are applying for fresh licenses only for the ‘Telangana’ card. For a fresh license, application along with proof of address and the original licence and required fee (Rs 415 plus Rs 30 delivery charge) is enough.

Since the state formation day (June 2nd), 49,634 driving licences were issued by the 37 offices in the State. There are nearly 70.36 lakh licence holders in ten districts of Telangana. Every day, more than 3,000 driving licences are issued in the State while Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy districts alone give out about 1,000 licences.
